Jacob White, a native of Owasso, Oklahoma, is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance at Oklahoma State University under the tutelage of Lanette Lopez Compton. Jacob is an avid performer and currently performs with the OSU Wind Ensemble, OSU Symphony Orchestra, OSU Horn Choir, and OSU Horn Octet. In the past he has performed with the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute Symphony Orchestra, BAHQ, and the FOOSA Philharmonic in Fresno, California.

Jacob is an avid arranger and frequently arranges for the studios at Oklahoma State University and recent graduates from the area. He also composes and had his first composition, "In a Forsaken World" Concertino for Horn and Piano, premiered this past spring. This summer, Jacob will have his work "Maiden Voyage" for Low Horn and Piano premiered by Denise Tryon, Professor of Horn at the Peabody Institute. Read more...
