Jacob White, a native of Owasso, Oklahoma, is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Horn Performance at the University of Redlands in Redlands, California. He is studying with the avid freelancer Adam Wolf. Jacob is an avid performer and freelancer in the Los Angeles area. Jacob currently performs with the UofR Wind Ensemble, UofR Orchestra, Encore Studios, and the American Youth Symphony. In the past he has performed with the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas and the FOOSA Philharmonic in Fresno, California.

Jacob has attended many workshops throughout the United States and competed in several competitions. Jacob was the winner of the High Horn Orchestral Mock Audition at the Mid-South Horn Workshop in 2017 in Conway, Arkansas. His quartet, BAHQ, also won the Quartet Competition at the Mid-South Horn Workshop in 2016 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Recently, Jacob won first prize in the University of Redlands Concerto Competition and performed the Concerto for Horn and Strings by Gordon Jacob with the University of Redlands Orchestra.
